System Engineer

TCSI is currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for contract work at their client site in Houston to provide support for the Technology Integration team. Your responsibility includes gathering requirements from business department, conduct analysis, write and present technical specifications for the migration from Windows NT4 and Exchange 5.5 to Windows 2003 and Exchange 2007, perform system support, testing, on-site training, and schedule and assist in deployments.

Required Skills:

• Minimal of two years in Computer Technology
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Business, Communications or a related discipline
• One professional IT certification is desired (MCSE, MCT), preferred
• Able to resolve and diagnose application, hardware and system issues.
• Technical knowledge of PC hardware, Microsoft Operating Systems and productivity tools
• Enterprise End User Environment Experience
• Strong communication, documentations and analytical skills
• Intimate knowledge of Windows NT4 Exchange 5.5
• Intimate knowledge Windows /2000/2003 Server, Exchange 2003/2007, Windows 2003 Active Directory
• Understanding of networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, Subnets, DNS, WINS, VLAN, VPN)
• Mentors and provides senior level technical assistance to IT Staff
• Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to excel in a team model 5

Workstation Analyst

TCSI is currently seeking an experienced Workstation Analyst for contract work at their client site in Houston. This person will be responsible for the assessment of server, desktop & laptop computer systems within an Enterprise environment. They will contribute to the planning and design as well as interfaces with other Information Technology groups to coordinate workstation hardware, software, and application capabilities. Additional responsibilities include the following:

• Research options for long and short-term change to the desktop computer technologies in order to ensure that required functions are available to support business initiative across the organization.
• Responsible for the delivery of assigned projects, meeting assigned timelines
• Responsible for performing other duties and tasks as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Minimal of two years of experience in the information Technology field

TCSI is currently seeking an experienced Systems Analyst for contract work at their client site in Houston The system analyst responsibility is to gather departmental technology information and assist in analyzing each department IT requirements for translation to system requirements and participates in designing system solutions, testing and implementation if required:

Required Skills:

• Minimal of two years of experience in the information Technology field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Business, Communications or a related discipline OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong communication, documentations and analytical skills. A plus but not required
• Knowledge of Windows NT4 Exchange 5.5
• Knowledge Windows /2000/2003 Server, Exchange 2003/2007, Windows 2003 Active Directory, understanding of networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, Subnets, DNS, WINS, VLAN, VPN)
